Persistent snowfall cause of weather related accidents (Bangor Daily News)

A multiple vehicle accident slowed traffic Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 shortly before 11 a.m. near the entrance ramp from Union Street to I-95 North in Bangor. Persistent snowfall in the Bangor area caused many weather related accidents Saturday morning.

A university lecturer survived four attempts on his life in last week's Mumbai terror attacks. Gunmen opened fire on Simon Healeas, a finance lecturer at the University of Westminster, in the Taj Mahal hotel - but he survived as he was carrying his wife's glasses case in his breast pocket which shielded his chest from a bullet.
